On a run into Home Depot to look for a new wreath before Christmas, I came across a huge sale. They had all of their Christmas stuff on sale 75% off. All their Christmas trees, Christmas lights, decorations - anything remotely seasonal they had left.
They had a big inflatable Santa in a helicopter for $25. I decided against it and put it back on the shelf and it was gone about 30 seconds later.
I found some new fancy outdoor Christmas lights. They synchronize with each other and "dance" to 12 different patterns.
I ended up buying out what they had, in 3 trips to the store. The strands were $8 each instead of $35. Such a great deal.
With our new house, we weren't sure of our overall plan for lights or how far our existing lights would go but now we have an idea for next year!
Chris was nice enough to install these for me this year!
