Shopping - March 4

While Chris took Jude to run some errands, I took Elise to get groceries. 
She's so pleasant when we are out and about. 
She says hi to everyone! And she's persistent enough to keep saying hi, louder and louder, until she gets a response.

One of the best reasons to take a kid grocery shopping. Especially in junky weather. 

She insisted on a car cart, even if there was just her. 

Can't make it through the store without a snack! (I had brought them from home).

Snow! - Mar 3

A big snowstorm over my birthday weekend led to us finally being able to get outside for a little bit of playing time. 
The weather was nice and mild and perfect for making a snowman. 
Here's our family snowman. 

Unfortunately, he only lasted a day. It was so mild, his face melted off the next afternoon.

Best nap ever - Feb 29

What a great way to spend my extra day of this year. 
Chris had a night out, Elise had an early night and I enjoyed a nice little snuggle with Jude by the fire. 
We both had such a snugly nap. 
I let him sleep there for a while before I moved him back to his room.  I just sat and watched him. And took pictures of my sleeping boy. 

31 - Feb 27

I took my birthday off to have a fun day with my family. 
We went to the Science Center with my mom, my sister and her family. 
We got to see the new kids section and we were there right when it opened, so it was not very busy. 
It was a really great morning. The kids had a great time and I love seeing them have such a great time.

Jude's last dance class, parents were able to sit in and watch.

Sweet Aubrey - Feb 23

We had a lovely visit from our cousins.  We were able to meet sweet new baby Aubrey.  Farah, Jude and Elise played so cutely together and I got to cuddle the baby. 
My favourite way to spend an afternoon!

Finally a new phone! 
I've been wanting an iPhone since Chris got his about 18 months ago. 
I love it. It helps keep my life as in order as possible :) 
Email, grocery lists, camera, address book, Facebook, games .... it's great!  
This is the first picture I took... grainy because I had forgotten to take off the plastic over the camera lens. Oops. 

I used ana pp called Instagram to take this picture. It adds effects to the shot and make it look old fashiony.

Diva - Feb 20

I never had the patience on my old PC to learn to use Photoshop enough to make "artistic" type pictures. I used it to catalogue my photos but not much else. 

I found this free app for my computer that keeps a few things in colour... and it's so so easy!! 

I love this picture. 

Family fun night - Feb 19

We had Sunday dinner at my sisters house. 
It ended with a family nerf battle. 
So much fun! 

Jude's new room - Feb 19

Finally, Jude's room is complete! 

The decals are from a company called www.whatisblik.com

We love them. We had the EXACT same decals in Jude's old room and then recreated the same scene in this room. We made it a little more "grown up" with the air planes, but otherwise it is the same. 

We had intended on recreating Elise's old room (below) but Blik doesn't make the Summer Wind graphic anymore. So sad. 

So for now, we wait. Wait until Elise is in a big girl bed and we have a better idea of what the grand picture will look like. 

We ordered a decal for our room to match our city/M.C. Escher theme. Can't wait to get it up and post pics. 

Big girl - Feb 18
